The healthcare centre at Todmorden has joined the NHS Forest. Planting at this site includes a herb garden, fruit trees, fruit bushes, an apothecary garden and lots more. Initial planting started in 2009 with the local community, future jobs fund team and community service teams all taking part.
The centre is included on the green health route which includes all of the Incredible Edible Todmorden sites and it is hoped that GPs will encourage their patients to take part in the maintenance of the garden and also walk the green health route on a regular basis.
